Jim is a founder and Managing Director of RESEARCH STRATEGY GROUP. Involved in research and consulting for over 25 years, he has conducted projects on behalf of many of Canada’s largest private and public institutions. His expertise is in beverage alcohol, gambling, financial and wireless research. He’s not concerned with words like qualitative or quantitative – for him, methods are all about the insights they deliver and their bearing on strategy.
Prior to founding RESEARCH STRATEGY GROUP, Jim held senior positions at Canada Market Research and Lowther Consultants. After graduating from the University of Toronto, Jim worked in the political arena for a number of years before applying that expertise to marketing research. He is also an ESOMAR member and MRIA Certified Market Research Professional. In addition, Jim is Chair of Global Market Research, a network of more than 25 companies operating around the world.
Jim is committed to using the latest techniques and best practice to ensure our clients benefit from most appropriate approach to solving their business issues. He is a much sought after speaker and has made presentations to the gaming and beverage alcohol communities.
He loves mid-century modern architecture, golf and French bulldogs.
